Description

The OnePlus 15R is more of a „performance and battery“ model, aimed at those who want a fast phone at a lower price than the OnePlus 15. Compared to the OnePlus 15, you get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (instead of the 8 Elite), a slightly larger 7400mAh battery, but a simpler camera system without a telephoto lens. In other words, there’s more focus on speed and endurance than photo/video quality.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 here is focused on very smooth everyday operation and stable performance in games. Together with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, apps open quickly, and switching between multiple tasks at once everything runs smoothly.

The screen is a 6.83" 1.5K AMOLED, so the image is bright and text is clear even in smaller fonts. The maximum brightness reaches up to 1800 nits, so the screen is easier to read outdoors. Narrower bezels create a "bigger screen" effect, making the phone look modern and pleasant to look at.

The screen refresh rate of up to 165Hz is most noticeable in motion – in games and even when simply scrolling through social networks or pages. The image looks smoother and the controls are faster, especially when playing games. This is one of the biggest "hooks" of the 15R for those who want a good gaming experience on their phone.

7400mAh baterija yra vienas stipriausių šio modelio argumentų – ji realiai leidžia rečiau galvoti apie įkroviklį. Įkrovimas palaiko 80W spartą, todėl pasikrovimas vis tiek greitas ir patogus kasdienai. Jei tau svarbiausia ištvermė ir stabilus naudojimas kelionėse, 15R čia pataiko labai taikliai.

The cameras here are more "rugged for everyday use" than for high-end photography. The main 50MP Sony IMX906 camera with OIS copes well during the day and helps keep the frame more stable in motion, while the 8MP ultra-wide angle is useful for travel and group photos. There's a 32MP camera on the front, and video can be shot up to 4K 120fps with Dolby Vision.

The OnePlus 15R is IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K dust and water resistant. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0, and the OxygenOS 16 system is generally praised for its smooth operation and clear controls. If you want a "fast and tidy" Android without unnecessary nonsense, this is definitely a model worth considering. Another convenient highlight for travel is the eSIM function (eSIM is supported only in EU version).
