Ninebot Max G30 or Inmotion L9 / S1? Recently, we have received quite a few such questions - so we will try to give a brief overview!
Ninebot G30
- About 5 kg lighter
- Capacity battery 551Wh
- Driving is more stable
- Possibility to enroll in CFW
- Max. speed up to 35 km/h
- More details/accessories
- Charger integrated into the frame
Inmotion L9 / S1
- More powerful 500W motor
- More capacious 675Wh battery
- The ride is softer
- LED lights at the bottom
- 2x charging ports
Since we had to own and test both of these models, we ended up staying with the Ninebot G30. Driving stability, the possibility to increase engine power, speed up to 35 km/h, to make a "zero start" were some of the essential advantages. On L9, max. the speed decreased very sharply as the remaining battery level fell, the remaining 20-30% speed was only about 20km/h...
On the other hand, the Inmotion L9 / S1 drives more pleasantly on uneven roads due to the fact that it has such shock absorbers in the front and back + with a more capacious battery, you can drive about 5-10 km more than with the G30. Of course, the more parts a scooter has, the more maintenance it requires.
Verdict
If you want a softer driving experience, you need a capacity battery, a speed of 20-30 km/h is enough and you are not afraid of a weight of 24.5 kg - then choose Inmotion S1.
If you want access to more settings (speed, power, zero start), if you plan to ride distances up to 40km, if you want a more stable driving experience and a lighter scooter - then choose Ninebot MAX G30.
