It goes even up to 350 km?!
The ENGWE LE20 electric bike features an extremely high-capacity 48V 38.4Ah (1844Wh) battery. According to the manufacturer, such a battery is enough to travel a distance of up to 350 km. Sounds impressive, doesn't it? True, this declared distance was tested while driving in engine assistance mode, on a level road and with a load of 75 kg. In short - under ideal and favorable conditions. The manufacturer does not provide other data about the average speed, level of engine assistant and other conditions.
Central engine
Since the purpose of such a bike is to carry more weight, it is very nice that the manufacturer has also thought about an engine of the appropriate power. Although the power of the engine has not been officially revealed for the EU market, it is currently known that it will be a central (mid-drive) engine with a torque of up to 100Nm. That kind of power should be more than enough to cover a steeper hill, even with a heavier weight/load.
Bicycle components
As for the other components of the bike, ENGWE LE20 is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes, Shimano 7-level gear system, torque sensor, front spring shock absorber. The front light will work in the dark, and the rear LED light with turn signals will ensure that you are visible to other road users. By the way, the manufacturer declares that the weight of the trunk can withstand up to 200 kg!
Charging in just 2-3 hours.
A large battery is usually associated with a long charging time. And yes, with the standard charger included in the kit, it will take up to 6-8 hours to fully charge the ENGWE LE20 electric bike. If this period of time is too long for you and you want a faster solution, the manufacturer suggests purchasing an additional "ENGWE Flash Charge" 8A charger, which will reduce the charging time to 2-3 hours.
Luggage types/accessories
Depending on your needs, it will be possible to choose what type of rack/accessories you need with this e-bike. It doesn't matter if you plan to transport children, animals, work tools, food or tourist supplies - ENGWE will definitely offer more than one suitable luggage option.
