Xiaomi 13 Lite
Let's start with the cheapest phone of the latest series - Xiomi 13 Lite. This model is a rebranded Xiaomi Civi 2, which was introduced to the Chinese market at the end of 2022. The main parameters of the phone: 6.55" AMOLED 120Hz screen, Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, dual 32MP + 8MP selfie camera, 50MP f/1.8 main camera, 67W fast charging and 4500mAh capacity battery. Let's start with the price - €999 for the Xiaomi 13 base model. There is already something wrong here... Until now, Xiaomi has been well known to everyone as a good price/quality phone manufacturer, but in the last year we have seen a trend that the prices of flagship series products have risen significantly (too much?).
And don't get me wrong. Xiaomi 13 is equipped with excellent parameters: solid build quality, 6.36" AMOLED 120Hz flat screen with 1900 nits max. brightness, the most powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, fast UFS 4.0 internal memory, 50MP f/1.8 main camera with OIS, 4500mAh capacity battery, fast 50W wireless charging and IP68 resistance.
Xiaomi 13 Pro
The best of the best - Xiaomi 13 Pro? Maybe, but only temporarily, because we should also get the 13 ULTRA model sometime later. What makes the Pro better than the previously reviewed model? A larger 6.73" LTPO screen with a higher resolution of 1440 x 3200, a better 50.3MP f/1.9 camera with a 1.0" sensor, faster 120W charging, a larger battery. Well, the general design of the phone is somewhat more rounded. Price: €1299+
And basically the problem is that Xiaomi has entered a very competitive area with these new flagship models. Up to €1000 you can find quite a few great, even better alternatives, e.g. Google Pixel 7 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S23+ or OnePlus 11. If Xiaomi does not lower the prices soon, it is very likely that the Xiaomi 13 series will have problems with sales.
Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro
The funniest thing is that Xiaomi has already released the Watch S2 for the Chinese market, but only the older S1 Pro is available for the Global market. I was 100% will make sure that they will really deliver S2 during this launch, but well, that's it. Once again Xiaomi "surprised"... We will have to wait longer.
And speaking of the Xiaomi S1 Pro watch: very nice classic design, 1.47" AMOLED screen with resistant sapphire glass, stainless steel case, leather strap, GPS, 5ATM resistance, wireless charging function, up to 14 days of operation, NFC payments (Mastercard). Price : €299 Another "ouch"...
Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro
Another Xiaomi bluetooth headset. What can I say - from the design point of view, it looks really solid, you can immediately get the impression that it is a premium class product. The parameters speak for themselves: up to 38 hours. operation with a case, ANC function, high sound quality standards are supported, IP54 resistance, wireless charging function. Again - everything looks great, but the price is not very competitive - even €249.
Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra
Well, here is Xiaomi's biggest surprise. It's hard to believe, but this is the first scooter from this manufacturer with shock absorbers!
