On September 26, 2023, the Xiaomi 13T / Xiaomi 13T Pro phones and the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro smart watch were officially presented. Let's take a look at the main parameters of these devices, the estimated prices and discuss whether they are worth your attention?

Xiaomi 13T

The Xiaomi 13T phone comes with a MediaTek 8200-Ultra (4nm) processor, which is fast enough, scoring almost 900,000 points according to AnTuTu tests, but slightly behind its direct competitor Snapdragon 7 Gen 2. On the front of the phone, we find a 6.67" AMOLED HDR10+ screen with 144Hz refresh rate. frequency, Gorilla Glass 5, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and even up to 2600 nits max brightness.

The new Xiaomi 13T model is also equipped with the already standard 5000mAh capacity battery, with a charging speed of 67W, which will allow the phone to be fully charged from 0 to 100% in about 42 minutes. It will be possible to choose between 8+256GB or 12+256GB capacity.

As for the cameras: on the back of the phone we find a SONY IMX707 50 MP, f/1.9 main camera, a 50 MP, f/1.9 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and a 12 MP, f/2.2 ultrawide camera. As you know, Xiaomi has been cooperating with Leica for some time, so the phones of the 13T series will also be decorated with this inscription, and we have to hope that we will be able to squeeze out more beautiful shots.

Both the Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro models have official IP68 water resistance, a front-mounted 20 MP, f/2.2 selfie camera, an under-display fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C 2.0 port, and stereo speakers.

Meanwhile, when it comes to the more powerful Xiaomi 13T Pro sibling, the main differences would be: a more powerful Mediatek Dimensity 9200+ (4nm) processor, which according to AnTuTu tests scores similarly to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, has faster 120W charging (up to 100% in ~ 19 min.), and finally it will have a faster internal memory UFS 4.0 (while the 13T model - UFS 3.1). 

The phones themselves did not surprise too much, the trend remains very similar to the previous Xiaomi 11T / 12T series models, where the processors, charging speed and several other aspects are fundamentally different. Speaking of prices, the basic Xiaomi 13T model with 8+256GB capacity costs €649, and the Xiaomi 13T Pro with 12+256GB memory costs €799. What do you think about these prices?

Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro

As for the new Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro, it is probably a much more interesting and attention-grabbing device than the Xiaomi 13T series phones. Fans have been waiting for a smart Xiaomi watch with WearOS on the global market for years, and at a time when no one was probably expecting it - here it is.

The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro smart watch is equipped with a fast Snapdragon W5+ Gen1 processor, dual-frequency GNSS (GPS), as many as 150+ different sports tracking options, various sensors for health monitoring. Payments will be possible using NFC technology with Google Wallet, and even Google Maps will open if needed to make it easier not to get lost while roaming around the world.

The classic watch design is probably a fairly safe and smart solution, as it comes across as neutral and should appeal and appeal to many customers. On the right side, 3 physical buttons and a wheel are integrated, with the help of which it will be easier to navigate under the WearOS menu.

As with other smartwatches with WearOS, the biggest downside is the battery life. Xiaomi itself officially declares up to 65 hours. operation, but it is very likely that you will need to charge the watch every other day in real conditions. The price of the Xiaomi Wath 2 Pro will start at €269 for the Bluetooth version and €329 for the LTE model.
