Description
Insta360 X6 is a next-generation 360° camera aimed at those who want to film travel, sports, POV shots and create content for social networks with a single device. Larger sensors, 8K 50 fps filming and a new AI system allow you to expect a significant leap not only in resolution, but also in real-world image quality.
The Insta360 X6 uses two custom-designed 1/1.1″ sensors, and image processing is handled by a three-chip system. It consists of a 4nm Qualcomm AI chip and two separate image processing chips for better detail, color, and noise reduction.
An updated image processing system and two ambient light sensors help the X6 cope better with low-light and nighttime filming, reducing flicker from artificial lighting and allowing more detail to be retained in darker scenes.
The camera can capture 360° photos at up to 120 MP resolution, and can record in Dolby Vision and 10-bit I-Log profiles, providing more color information and flexibility for those editing the footage later in an editing program.
In 360° mode, the Insta360 X6 shoots at up to 8K 50 fps, and the camera can also be used as a regular action camera. For flat viewing, you can choose up to 5K 60 fps or 4K 120 fps, and the 170° viewing angle allows you to capture an ultra-wide scene.
Despite the increasing capabilities, the X6 remains compact and easy to fit in your pocket. An updated cooling system helps control temperatures, battery life can be extended to up to 140 minutes, and damaged lenses can be replaced without sending the entire camera in for repair.
FlowState stabilization helps maintain smooth footage even during active movement, and a 360° microphone system is designed to better suppress wind noise. The X6 is also waterproof to a depth of 20 meters, so an additional case is unnecessary in most cases.
The new PanoMind AI model analyzes 360° footage and helps you find the most interesting moments and suitable angles. AI Director can automatically select frames and prepare a video clip, or for more control, the Insta360 Studio editing program remains.
NFC Touch and Connect allows for faster pairing of the camera with your phone, and the large display makes it easy to control filming directly on the camera. An updated magnetic mounting system allows for quick mount changes and a wide range of Insta360 accessories.
