Unboxing
The unboxing of Tronsmart bluetooth speakers is a complete classic, because you can say that the design of the boxes is identical, the style is the same, the contents of the box itself and the accessories are also identical. Inside we will find: a comfortable carrying strap, USB-C cable, 3.5mm aux cable, warranty card and user manual. Everything is packed nice and neat.
Assembly quality
The column itself is quite large, and its weight (about 2.5 kg) is a positive sign. Anyway, the assembly quality itself is solid, the connections are well covered with protective rubber, the physical buttons are quite large and press comfortably. The side irons - the lugs through which the carrying belt goes, also look strong and durable. It will be seen how it will hold in the long term.
Functionality
Apart from the usual use as a standard BT speaker - Tronsmart Force MAX can also be used as a power bank (15,000mAh capacity), which is sometimes useful for charging a phone or tablet. If there is a need to listen to music directly from the speaker itself, you can record songs on a Micro SD card and then play them directly from there, but maybe this is old school?! Or not? Haha.
Sound quality
Before that I tested the Tronsmart Bang 60W speaker, I was not very impressed with the sound quality, somehow it seemed that there was not much balance and not enough bass (although the speaker is classified as a "party" speaker). I didn't have high expectations for the Force MAX either, but to be honest, I found the sound quality better than on the BANG model. The highs, mids and lows seem to be better balanced, and the same lows are just as deep. In short, I really liked FORCE MAX better than BANG.
Of course, it should be mentioned that you probably won't want to listen to all 80W (max volume on the 100%), because there are a lot of sound distortions (as on many BT speakers). Realistically, it is probably optimal to play up to 70-80% max volume to maintain better sound quality. The sound itself (loudness) is sufficient both for indoor and outdoor listening (in nature, etc.).
Battery
Tronsmart officially declares that this Force Max 80W speaker with a 15,000mAh capacity battery should ensure operation for up to 13 hours. True, during my testing - I got slightly lower results. Setting the sound level to about 40% during the first tests recorded about 15% battery reduction after 1.5 hours. of the question. This, as in theory, takes 1 hour. ~ 10%, but as the battery was nearing the end, less than 20% left, I heard the first "low battery" warning signal and after a dozen minutes Force Max completely turned off.
By setting a lower sound level, better results could be achieved, similarly - listening on the 80% and above - the battery life will be significantly reduced. But anyway, for average conditions of use (listening at medium volume) - the battery should really last for about 7-8 hours. Maybe it would be a little longer, but it should be enough for most cases.
Verdict
Sound quality is average, good balance, enough power. Low frequencies - quite strong and deep low frequencies are felt. Build quality is solid, everything looks durable. IPX6 water resistance - well, it can definitely come in handy. Battery - average, really up to ~ 8 hours. operation / playing. Portability - 2.5 kg weight, it is definitely not light, not for all trips. Functionality - excellent, works as a power bank, supports MicroSD cards, has a 3.5mm connector, convenient buttons on the top. Price / quality - one of the better Tronsmart models tested so far.
