ENGWE Engine Pro 3.0 Boost is an updated version of the previous Engine Pro 2.0, focused on higher performance and smart technologies. The main improvements are higher engine torque, faster battery charging and an advanced security system with GPS. The model retains the folding design and 20x4.0" inch wheels, but becomes more suitable for intensive daily use.
The Engine Pro 3.0 Boost features full suspension with improved rear shock absorption and a stiffer design. The front fork and rear shock absorber absorb shocks more effectively, especially when riding on forest or gravel roads. Together with the 20x4.0" thick tires, it ensures a more stable ride and greater comfort. Compared to the 2.0 model, the suspension works softer and quieter.
One of the biggest advantages of the Engine Pro 3.0 Boost is its extremely fast battery charging. The 48V 15Ah (720Wh) battery is fully charged in about 2 hours with an 8A charger. This is a significant difference from the Engine Pro 2.0, which takes about 6 hours to charge. This solution is very convenient for those who use the bike every day.
The ENGWE Engine Pro 3.0 Boost battery is integrated into the frame, but can be easily removed. It is protected by a mechanical lock, which reduces the risk of theft. This design allows you to conveniently charge the battery at home. In addition, it is easier to protect the battery from cold or moisture during the off-season.
The motor, which supports Boost mode, reaches up to 90Nm of torque (Engine Pro 2.0 offers 75Nm). This makes a clearly noticeable difference when climbing steep hills or starting with a heavier load. The bike responds faster to pedaling and maintains speed more stably on climbs. This makes the 3.0 Boost suitable for more difficult terrain.
The manufacturer states that the Engine Pro 3.0 Boost can travel up to 130km using the lowest level of assistance. In real conditions, depending on weight, terrain and riding mode, about 60-80 km is usually achieved. This is a very similar or slightly better result than the Engine Pro 2.0. A big advantage is that the fast charge allows you to travel more during the day.
Engine Pro 3.0 Boost has a built-in GPS module that allows you to track the bike's location on your phone. The Motion Detection system warns you if the bike is moved, and Keyless Unlocking allows you to unlock the bike without a physical key. All these functions are controlled via the ENGWE app. This is a big leap in security compared to the 2.0 model.
At the center of the bike is a bright LCD display that displays speed, mileage, battery level and assist mode. The settings menu allows you to change display settings, security settings and system options. The Engine Pro 3.0 Boost supports OTA updates, so the software can be updated remotely.
