DJI Osmo 360 is an action camera that is perfect for various scenarios. The first is 360° panoramic filming, when you want to capture everything around and then "cut out" the best angle. The second is first-person action mode with an ultra-wide view, when you film sports, travel or active leisure. The third is vlogging: convenient because it has a 2" touch screen and you can quickly check the frame.
OsmoAudio's direct microphone connection allows the camera to connect directly to two DJI Mic transmitters, without a separate receiver. This means fewer boxes, fewer wires, and faster setup for filming. This scheme is especially convenient for vlogging or dialogues when you are filming with two people and want clear voice. Additionally, you can leave the sound reserve of the camera microphones to have the background of the environment.
The camera weighs just 183g, making it easy to carry and attach to a helmet, bike or mount. The Osmo 360 uses two 1/1.1" square CMOS sensors with an f/1.9 aperture, making it focused not only on daytime shots, but also on low-light situations. 360° panoramic video maxes out at 8K (7680×3840) at up to 50 fps, and photos up to 120MP. When you need a "classic" action shot, there are single-lens modes, including Boost with a 170° field of view and 4K/120fps. This is complemented by stabilization to keep the frame neat in motion.
In low light, the camera is strong thanks to its higher light sensitivity and f/1.9 optics, so the image remains sharper and with less noise. Dynamic range helps maintain detail when there are both bright lights and dark areas in the frame, for example, in a city at night. In practice, this means that night shots look „cleaner“ and light sources are less „burned out“. If you’re filming at dusk, the SuperNight mode, designed for darker scenes, is also useful.
The Standard Combo kit includes the Osmo 360 camera itself and the Osmo Action Extreme Battery Plus (1950 mAh). It also includes a protective case for the camera and a rubber lens protector for safer transportation. It also includes a USB-C to USB-C PD cable (USB 3.1) for faster charging and data transfer. You will also find a lens cleaning cloth - a small thing, but it is really necessary for 360° optics.
